Brian has painted solely in watercolour until quite recently (because he always has...). Over the last year he has ventured into the world of acrylics for better or, some may say, for worse. His paintings, mainly landscapes, are a mixture of impressionism and abstraction but are not totally incomprehensible.

They are interpretative rather than representational aiming to convey the atmosphere of his subjects and his feelings towards them.
