I work predominantly with the landscape in oil, exploring the physicality of the environment in contrast with the changing nature of shadow and light.
I use diluted colour washes to create planes of varying shades and tones on the painted canvas to emphasize a feeling of both solidity and fluctuation.

The studio is situated on the A345 in Oare. Approaching form Marlborough, go through the village of Oare and just beyond Hatfield Farm industrial units on the left, you will see thatched cottages on the right, running adjacent to the road. There is a small layby just outside which offers minimal parking,
additional parking can be found on the property. (Disabled access by arrangement.)
